Vanguard Vantage General Contracting LLC is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Procurement Engineer

to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project timelines and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project specifications and BOQs to identify material requirements. Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery time. Prepare and issue RFQs, purchase orders, and subcontracts. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best value. Track and monitor material deliveries to ensure timely arrival on-site. Coordinate with project, engineering, and warehouse teams to align procurement with site needs. Maintain accurate procurement records, logs, and reports. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in

Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

or related field.

3-5

years of UAE experience in procurement within the construction industry is must. Strong knowledge of construction materials, local market, and vendor base. Command of the Arabic language would be advantageous. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP). Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
