Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Procurement Engineer
with a strong background inoil & gas projects.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience inproject procurement
, vendor management, and technical evaluation of equipment and materials. Engineering background is essential for understanding project specifications and technical requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Manage the
end-to-end procurement process
for oil & gas projects, including RFQs, bid evaluations, PO issuance, and delivery follow-up. Review and interpretengineering specifications and project requirements
to ensure accurate procurement of materials and equipment. Coordinate with engineering, project management, and construction teams to meetproject timelines and budgets
. Identify, qualify, and managesuppliers and vendors
, especially for gas processing equipment and systems. Negotiateterms, pricing, and delivery schedules
with vendors to ensure best value. Ensurecompliance with project standards
, industry codes, and company procurement procedures. Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues. Prepare and maintain procurement documentation and reports.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical or similar). Minimum
10 years of experience
inprocurement
within theoil & gas industry
. Proven experience ongas processing projects
is essential. Strong understanding ofequipment specifications, materials, and international codes/standards
. Excellentnegotiation, communication, and organizational
skills. Familiar with ERP systems and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).#LI-SS1
