AlFarah Contracting and General Transport is currently hiring a
Procurement Officer
to support our growing operations. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of procurement processes, and experience with
SAP and ERP systems
.
English (written and spoken)
is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services according to project requirements
Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate bids, and issue Purchase Orders (POs)
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications
Maintain procurement records and documentation in ERP/SAP systems
Support in sourcing new suppliers and maintaining vendor databases
Communicate with internal departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs
Follow up on shipment, delivery schedules, and payment coordination
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations
Requirements:
With good command of English
Minimum 2-4 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or contracting sectors
Proficient in
SAP and ERP systems
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
