Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Procurement Engineer

with practical experience in procurement processes, procurement software systems, and strong computer literacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day procurement activities, coordinating with suppliers, managing documentation, and supporting project procurement needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute procurement tasks including sourcing, requesting quotations, evaluating suppliers, and preparing purchase orders. Operate and manage procurement software to maintain accurate procurement records and reports. Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, project management, finance) to define procurement requirements. Analyze pricing trends, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Maintain comprehensive records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards. Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and documentation using advanced MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook). Assist in vendor prequalification, evaluation, and performance monitoring. Resolve supplier issues and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Minimum 2 years of practical experience in procurement or supply chain roles. Proficiency in procurement software Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of engineering materials and technical specifications is a plus.
