Job Description
The Procurement Engineer position ensures that the company obtains leading quality products for competitive prices in a timely fashion. The Procurement Engineer role oversees the purchasing of goods and services for industrial operations. The role requires detailed knowledge of the equipment, materials, and supplies used in the Electric Power Industry and the ability to identify companies that trade them. The role is responsible for managing supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
