Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure building materials (local and international) aligned with our catalogue of import and export of construction materials. Identify and develop reliable supplier networks globally and within the UAE. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost efficiency and high?quality supply. Coordinate with operations, project teams and logistics to align material delivery with project timelines. Maintain and update the supplier database, purchase records, material specifications and product categories. Ensure import/export documentation, customs clearances, shipment tracking, and quality compliance for materials being delivered locally or internationally. Monitor market trends within the building materials industry to support strategic sourcing and competitive pricing.

Requirements:

Prior experience in procurement or sourcing of building materials, preferably in UAE or Middle East/region. Engineering background or any relevant degree qualification (Civil / Construction / Materials engineering or equivalent is ideal). Strong negotiation & communication skills; ability to manage supplier relations and international sourcing. Familiarity with import/export procedures, documentation and logistics for construction materials. Knowledge of the local UAE construction materials market and international supply chains is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Purchase systems. Detail?oriented and able to work under deadlines in a dynamic trading / supply environment.
