Location: Al Hamra Freezone, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with a solid background in procurement to support our supply chain and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Support: Assist in the end-to-end procurement process, from raising purchase requisitions to placing orders and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Vendor Management: Help identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers. Maintain and update the vendor database, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
  • Sourcing & Quotations: Source materials, equipment, and services from reliable suppliers. Obtain and compare quotations, and assist in negotiations to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to track order status, resolve any delivery discrepancies, and ensure on-time delivery of goods.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including POs, delivery notes, invoices, and contracts.
  • Inventory Support: Collaborate with the warehouse and inventory teams to monitor stock levels and assist in inventory reconciliation.
  • ERP & System Management: Utilize the company's ERP system to update and track procurement data accurately.
  • Reporting: Assist in generating procurement reports related to spending, supplier performance, and cost savings.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of proven experience as a Procurement Assistant, Purchasing Assistant, or in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis).
  • Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is a significant advantage.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
