Job Purpose

To manage and coordinate the procurement, sourcing, and logistics of materials and services required for upstream oil & gas operations. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant supply of goods while supporting operational excellence and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for drilling equipment, well services, consumables, rigs, and related upstream materials. Manage RFQs, bids, tender evaluations, and purchase orders. Oversee logistics, shipments, customs clearance, and timely delivery to onshore/offshore sites. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and HSE teams to ensure alignment with project needs. Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant industry regulations. Track key KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, delivery timelines, and supply risks. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and cost optimization opportunities. Maintain accurate procurement records and support digital platforms (ERP, CRM, etc.).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of procurement or supply chain experience in the upstream oil & gas sector. Strong understanding of drilling tools, well services, and oilfield equipment. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Experience with procurement systems and tendering processes. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
