We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement & Logistics Officer to manage our sourcing, purchasing, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments to ensure smooth and timely supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers to secure the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms
Compare price, quality, and delivery conditions across different brands and vendors
Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation and records
Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery timelines with local and international suppliers
Manage inventory levels and follow up closely with warehouse and sales teams
Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships
Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and timelines
Coordinate with technical and operations departments to define equipment specifications
Plan, organize, and monitor the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods
Manage local and international shipping, including import/export documentation
Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies and safety standards
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in procurement and/or logistics
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Proficiency in MS Office
