Job Summary

We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer with experience in Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU) and Sour Water Stripper (SWS) processes to join the Global Manufacturing Excellence organization under the Downstream Global Manufacturing to support and oversee the performances of This Company global manufacturing assets. Your primary role will be to provide process engineering and operations expertise to monitor, optimize, and drive performance improvement programs for our refineries\' SRU & SWS, including remote and field technical advisory support, benchmarking, and SRU & SWS technology knowledge management and exchange. You will be expected to drive our performance improvement programs which enhance process safety, optimize manufacturing cost, and increase plant reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and monitoring the performance of existing SRU & SWS facilities using KPIs for operability, profitability, reliability, and process safety.
• Issuing quarterly performance benchmarking reports with KPIs, analysis, and recommendations for improvement.
• Supporting facilities in implementing recommendations and addressing gaps identified in benchmarking reports.
• Distributing bi-monthly technical best practices bulletins for SRU & SWS sharing across Global Manufacturing facilities.
• Providing remote and/or field technical advisory support to Global Manufacturing facilities on SRU & SWS operations, troubleshooting, start-up, shutdown, and more. Issuing service reports for support activities.
• Staying informed about SRU & SWS technology developments and endorsing evaluations for deployment.
• Recommending and coordinating technology deployments in SRU & SWS units.
• Participating in HAZOP and SIL studies, as well as incident investigations related to SRU & SWS technologies.
• Coordinating SRU & SWS data requests from Global Manufacturing Affiliate Affairs.
• Maintaining liaison with relevant departments for technology assessment and piloting support.

Requirements:

• Holding a Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related specialization. An advanced degree is preferred.
• Having a minimum of 15 years of overall experience in refinery or gas plants process units, including process engineering and operations.
• Having at least 10 years of experience specifically in handling SRUs, TGTU, and SWS plants.
• Exposure to different SRU and TGTU process licensor technologies is considered an additional advantage.
