Process Engineer - Water and Wastewater Treatment Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Process Engineer

to join our engineering team, specializing in

water and wastewater treatment projects

. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

designing, engineering, and commissioning treatment systems

, and will play a key role in ensuring process reliability and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the process design of water and wastewater treatment systems, including STP, MBBR, MBR, SBR, RO, DAF, and chemical dosing units. Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, mass balance, hydraulic profiles, and comprehensive technical reports. Select and size pumps, blowers, membranes, tanks, filters, and other process equipment. Analyze influent characteristics and ensure compliance with local discharge standards. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering teams to align designs. Prepare technical submittals, address consultant/client comments, and participate in technical reviews. Support procurement through BOQ preparation, datasheets, and vendor evaluations. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of process systems on-site. Provide optimization and troubleshooting support during operations and maintenance. Stay informed on regulatory updates, new technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in process engineering for water/wastewater treatment plants. Successfully delivered at least 5 projects independently locally. In-depth knowledge of municipal, industrial, and decentralized treatment systems (STP/RO/ETP). Strong technical and analytical skills, with hands-on experience in engineering software. Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
