: A Process Engineer designs, optimizes, and troubleshoots industrial processes to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity. They analyze production systems, develop process simulations, and implement improvements in industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Conduct mass and energy balance calculations.
Perform process simulations using software (Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD, PRO/II).
Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance production efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO).
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and R&D teams for process improvements.
Support scale-up from pilot plants to full-scale production.
Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of process simulation tools and process safety management (PSM).
Understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and unit operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in process design, optimization, or plant operations is a plus.
