They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer to join their team and optimize their manufacturing processes.
Job Summary:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety within the food production facility. This individual will apply their expertise in process engineering to identify and implement process improvements, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication in both English and Arabic.
Responsibilities:

• Process Design & Optimization:

• Design and develop new manufacturing processes and optimize existing ones to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct process simulations and modelling to evaluate process performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process control systems and procedures.
• Identify and resolve process bottlenecks and operational issues.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Process Improvement & Troubleshooting:

• Analyze process data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
• Develop and implement process monitoring and control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems.
• Implement process safety improvements.
• Equipment & Technology Evaluation:

• Evaluate and select new equipment and technologies to improve process efficiency and product quality.
• Develop and implement equipment installation and commissioning procedures.
• Optimize equipment performance and maintenance schedules.
• Stay up to date with the latest process engineering technologies and trends.
• Quality & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Develop and implement quality control procedures.
• Conduct process audits and inspections.
• Implement safety protocols and procedures.
• Documentation & Reporting:

• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
• Prepare and present process performance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of process changes and improvements.
• Communication & Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with production teams, quality assurance personnel, and management in both English and Arabic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
• Provide technical training and support to production staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of food processing equipment and technologies.
• Experience with process control systems and automation.
