The Role

Our client specialized in metering, processing, and engineering solutions for the oil and gas sector in the Middle East and Africa. The company designs, manufactures, and supplies skid-mounted equipment, covering all project stages from engineering to commissioning. The company ensures high-quality, reliable delivery and comprehensive after-sales support. Continuously evolving, it enhances its processes to meet client and industry standards. Responsibilities: - Process plant sizing and selection - Instruments sizing and selection - Isolation and control valves sizing and selection - Development of P&IDs - CFD modelling - Preparation & checking of documents produced "in-house" relating to process - Checking of documents produced by suppliers relating to process - Providing engineering support and resolution of technical issues relating to process - Review & interpretation of specifications, standards & regulations relating to process - Obtaining quotations from suppliers & reviewing quotations - Reviewing GAD/plant layout with respect to process - Participation in Contract Review / Kick Off Meetings - Participation in Design Review Meetings - Participation in P&ID & GA Review Meetings - Participation in HAZOP / HAZID / SIL Meetings - Participation in Workshop Handover & Sub-Contract Pre-Inspection Meetings - Participation in Close Out Meetings



Requirements

Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering Degree - Demonstrable experience in a project engineering role - the ideal candidate would have a history of working on bespoke engineered packages for the Energy industry - Strong communication, negotiation, technical and organisational skills
