Headquartered in the UAE, we are committed to advancing the region's technological edge in defense innovation. The Role We are seeking a Principal Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of sophisticated GNC systems for autonomous aerospace platforms. In this senior-level technical role, you will own the strategic direction of GNC capabilities, mentor engineering teams, and ensure performance integrity across flight-critical systems. You'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation, mission readiness, and system excellence across ADASI's evolving product lines. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Strategy
Define GNC architecture aligned with platform roadmaps and mission requirements.
Serve as technical authority across algorithm development, system trade-offs, and validation.
Lead design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis for GNC performance.
Guidance & Navigation System Design
Develop robust multi-sensor fusion solutions using GNSS, IMU, radar, vision systems, and altimeters.
Lead development of real-time guidance algorithms for precision navigation and mission planning.
Apply advanced state estimation algorithms and ensure resiliency in denied environments.
Advanced Control System Design
Design control systems (linear/nonlinear) for stability and responsiveness across flight phases.
Oversee actuator modeling, tuning, and integration with avionics subsystems.
Simulation, Testing & Certification
Direct SIL and HIL simulation environments for full-system validation.
Collaborate with flight test teams to evaluate telemetry and system behavior.
Support aerospace certification efforts per DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754A.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Mentorship
Drive integration across mission planning, avionics, systems, and autonomy domains.
Mentor engineers across levels, promoting technical depth and continuous learning.
Contribute to recruitment, upskilling, and GNC team capability growth.
