The weapon logic and control systems engineer should be an experienced professional in weapon logic system control, software, artificial intelligence, and skilled in guiding multiple teams towards implementation of solutions. This engineer will write requirements, system element specifications, handle verification, and certification of the weapon logic and control. Key Accountabilities
Weapon Logic and Control Engineering: Manage the acquisition of a multi-disciplinary Weapon Logic and Control (WLC) System throughout the System Engineering Life Cycle. Design and develop target acquisition, target tracking, flight path calculation, guidance commands, weapon safety logic, telemetry, BIT, health policies, and AI applications. Specify non-physical aspects such as software logic, control, safety, and health components, and their interactions. Implement MBSE practices using tools like Jama and Genesys, ensuring traceability and configuration management. Develop and refine system architecture designs, define specifications, and allocate functionalities to system elements. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Contribute to future system requirements and technological roadmaps. Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 15+ years in control engineering, with at least 5 years in certification and classification methodologies. Knowledge of system control, software subsystem design, AI, and interface design skills. Familiarity with international standards such as MIL-STDs, IEC/IEEE, SAE, RTCA, SysML, etc. Additional Details
