Your mission

As

Principal Resident Engineer (PRE) - Substations

in our

Electrical Grids

department, you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in the delivery of high-voltage GIS substation and cable projects in the UAE.

Your key responsibilities

Take overall

project supervision and site-based construction/commissioning management responsibility

for 400kV/220kV/132kV GIS substations and associated cable works. Coordinate with key

stakeholders

including the client, EPC contractors, statutory bodies, and third-party consultants. Lead on-site

progress monitoring, cost control

, and

change order coordination

to support project milestones. Conduct effective

progress reviews and reporting

to ensure transparent and accurate project documentation and communication.

Your qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (BE) in

Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Minimum

15 years of experience

, with a strong background in

EHV substation and cable projects in the UAE

Prior

TRANSCO approval

(preferred)

A strategic and detail-oriented engineer with hands-on experience in site-based project execution An effective communicator and collaborator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders A result-driven professional with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
