The Role
Role Definition \xe2\x80\xa2 Works under the direct supervision of Discipline Lead - Interior. This team member leads an Interior design team and schedules, organizes, coordinates and executes the design work on projects of all scales. Core Accountabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Interior Design. \xe2\x80\xa2 Team Leading. \xe2\x80\xa2 Client Interface. \xe2\x80\xa2 Resource Planning. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coaching. \xe2\x80\xa2 Performance Evaluation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design Management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design Coordination. \xe2\x80\xa2 Interface with Statutory Authorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design Research. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design Reviews. \xe2\x80\xa2 Site back-up. Duties & Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead a design group within the Design team throughout the design stages. \xe2\x80\xa2 Within the design group act as the client\'s point of contact for design related issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Within the design group act as the project\'s design coordinator and contributes (fully or partially) to the overall design management activities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for the integrated design delivery of projects throughout the entire project life cycle. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure design excellence and delivery of project documentation to SSH quality procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for BIM integration and development of innovative working methodologies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Take initiatives to develop design manuals, standard design documents, presentations, etc. to increase efficiencies, knowledge and awareness across the wider architectural community. Qualities & Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Developed Design skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Appropriate project experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Flexibility and attitude towards company objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Cordial relationships with clients and stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of SSH\'s commercial management of projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of risk management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of scope definition and scope interface. \xe2\x80\xa2 Developed presentation skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Detailed knowledge of SSH\'s standards, policies, codes and procedures and ability to transmit the same to others. \xe2\x80\xa2 Full knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements, knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Developed knowledge of Health & Safety Principles. \xe2\x80\xa2 Developed knowledge of Sustainable Design principles. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability and will to mentor and provide support to junior staff members and spread knowledge across the wider architectural community. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability and will to update knowledge. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is an added value. Requirements
