Our client, world's largest Oil & Gas company, is urgently looking for a "Principal Geomodeler" willing to work under the following conditions for an upcoming project: Terms and Conditions
- Work Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Status: Single, Resident
- Estimated Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Duration: 18 months (extendable depending on the project requirements)
- 25+ of industry experience in Geology Modeling, post graduated in Geology or higher qualification in Geology.
- 15+ of experience in Carbonate reservoir modeling in Middle East.
- 10+ of experience in Abu Dhabi and its oil and gas fields, good regional geological knowledge.
- Specialist in using Petrel for carbonate modeling with good knowledge of advanced modeling skills.
- Robust experience in Geophysics and Petrophysics domains with good knowledge of Petrel Geophysics and Tech-log.
- Specialist skills in Carbonate Nature Fracture Modeling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in multi-disciplinary team.
- Work independently and suggest innovative ideas.
- Build new geological model, review and improve existing models where available.
- Deliver static geological models for 6 reservoirs, each reservoir requires 3 months to complete all deliverables.
- Carry out detailed QA/QC of available seismic interpretation of horizons and faults, well correlation, and develop a stratigraphic framework.
- Build a structure framework using Petrel integrating all the above data.
- Review all well log interpretation, integrate all sedimentology data to understand reservoir property distribution, diagenesis.
- Analysis all well test data and MDT to define the fluid contacts and support the rock typing task, permeability and water saturation prediction.
- Integrate all the above to build a representative facies model, rock type model, porosity model, permeability and water saturation models.
- Carry out in-place hydrocarbon volumes and uncertainties to get different model scenarios as needed.
