Develop and implement Project Controls Procedures, Master and Control Schedules, and Reporting Systems on commencement of project
Assess Project Controls staffing requirements for all phases of project, and coordinate with Department for timely mobilization / demobilization of resources
Develop progress measurement system and monitor progress of work for timely execution of the project
Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through daily/weekly/monthly/ reports
Prepare and maintain project schedules and monitor progress to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule
Carry out diagnostic studies on ongoing project/ construction, to measure what is achieved vis-à-vis the plan based on progress reports and feedback to ensure timely completion, and formulate an action plan to keep the project on schedule.
Perform any other work as and when directed by the PCM
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in EPC project execution covering Planning and Scheduling, Progress measurement and Reporting
Ability to lead Planning efforts and coordinate with Field Project Planning team
Comprehensive understanding of Work Breakdown Structure and project Coding structures
Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
Knowledge and extensive work experience on Project Planning software including Primavera P6, Schedule Risk Analysis
Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
A minimum of 12-15 years’ experience in Mining and Minerals, Oil & Gas, Power Plant, or other Energy industry portfolio out of which 4-6 years should be in Lead Planner role
