Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

Performing designs from concept to detailed Electrical Design, including preparation of layouts, Single Line Diagrams, Metering, Control & Protection Diagrams, and calculations such as CT/VT sizing, equipment sizing, cable sizing, etc. Preparation of electrical equipment/system specifications. While knowledge of local and TRANSCO, ADNOC standards is not mandatory, candidates with this background will be preferred. Reviewing Electrical drawings, reports, and specifications prepared by Contractors or suppliers during FEED or EPC projects to ensure completeness, correctness, and compliance with the Scope of Work and agreements requirements. Supporting the Project Manager in coordinating and developing the services provided by the electrical engineers in UAE and overseas. Reviewing System Studies (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting, Transient and Dynamic stability Analysis, Harmonic Study, Arc Flash Study, etc.) during various stages of the project (from concept to construction). Knowledge and hands-on experience of ETAP, DigSilent, or similar industry-accepted software shall be an added advantage.

Candidate specifications:

BSc. Electrical Engineering Extensive experience in working for Power projects (Transmission or Generation). Knowledge of electrical simulation and analysis software tool as ETAP, PSCAD and PSSE is not mandatory but advisable. Knowledge of UAE, ADNOC and TRANSCO standards is not mandatory but advisable. Strong people management and relational skills. Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
