Major accountabilities of Position Supports the business by communicating team resource loading and skill requirements to the direct supervisor. . Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences. Mentors/trains and supports the delivery of training. . Encourages knowledge of and compliance with requirements and processes. . Works to resolve inter-discipline, vendor, and customer issues. . Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements. . Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. . Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. . Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful. . Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings. . Assists in determining issues, defining problems, identifying the pros and cons of multiple solutions. Makes recommendations for technical deviations from client specifications or technical queries. Assists in creating final documentation incorporating all relevant information and the pursuit of client authorization Job Specific Knowledge: . Full knowledge of AutoCAD tools and should be conversant with the small design software packages . Experience with the micro-station system . Experience in 3D modeling (PDS/EEraceway) and extraction of 2D drawings from 3D models . Specialization in the following: detailed drawings for lighting; small power and earthing systems; HV/LV single line diagrams; wiring and control schematic diagram; AC/DC distribution panels . Onshore and Offshore related oil & gas facilities experience . Knowledge of international standards

Industry Specific Experience: . experience in the design and drafting of offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities and associated sub structures . Extensive design experience in the electrical discipline in the same or similar industry, and, where relevant, experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams
