Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic and innovative lessons in KS1 or KS2.
- Utilise diverse teaching methods and instructional materials to engage students and enhance understanding.
- Design and update the math curriculum to align with educational standards and goals.
- Offer enrichment activities and challenges for high-achieving students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
- Establish and enforce rules and procedures to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Track and analyse student performance to identify areas for improvement and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Communicate student progress to parents and guardians through regular progress reports and parent-teacher meetings.
- Incorporate educational technology and online resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on new methodologies, curriculum changes, and advancements in the field of teaching.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a positive attitude toward school and their own learning.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and a growth mindset among students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
- PGCE and relevant experience in teaching Primary Education.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A genuine passion for the arts and a commitment to nurturing students\' artistic growth.
