The Role Uptown International School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EAL Teacher to join our team. Role Overview As a EAL Teacher, you will be implementing, planning and running interventions to support our students in school who are working on their English language acquisition. You will collaborate closely with teachers, and staff to ensure that planning and resources support these students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective EAL curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Provide support and resources to teachers to differentiate instruction for EAL students.
• Assess students\' language proficiency and monitor their progress.
• Attend planning meetings and give feedback to teams on how to improve their support resourcing.
• Stay updated with current research and best practices in EAL education.

Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Education, Linguistics, or related field Teaching certification and/or ESL/EAL certification Proven experience in EAL/ESL education Strong understanding of language acquisition theories and teaching methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
