Scope of the Position: To provide timely, accurate and competitive Air & Ocean Pricing (Import and Export) through focus on customer requirements, market intelligence and rates analysis in adherence to the company’s policies and procedures. Major Duties and Responsibilities RFQs Manage the air & Ocean pricing for RFQs (import and export) Meet deadlines set by customers and sales/geo on responding to pricing requests. Work with and coach sales/geo staff to properly qualify bids. Track and report the results of RFQs and quotes. Rate procurement and negotiation with service providers (Airlines / Ocean carrier) Present quotes / pricing to customers, sales, and account management Rates Analysis Review and analyze carrier rates. Review feedback from sales/geo on rate competitiveness. Report results of analysis to Product Managers. In conjunction with Product Managers, work with carriers or Gateways to keep rates fresh and competitive. Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities Analyze quoting patterns to develop additional opportunities. Measure close ratio of quotes provided. Rate & Surcharge Maintenance Maintain rate databases. Maintain and distribute FSC and surcharge information. Monitor the cargo guide to flag expiring rate agreements and contracts. General Support Provide general support for sales/geo on air pricing. Achieve Short Turnaround Time on transactional quote requests. Provide other general pricing support as specified by the Air and Ocean products.

Evaluating service providers at defined intervals per company policy, focusing on areas of possible improvement with corrective action plans where needed

Qualifications
Min 3-5 years’ experience in relevant filed
Strong knowledge of Air/ Ocean product and services
