Royal Cars is a premium automotive service centre specializing in crash damage repairs, full bodywork restoration, mechanical and auto electrical diagnostics, as well as luxury detailing and Paint Protection Film (PPF) applications. We pride ourselves on delivering uncompromising quality, precision, and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Workshop Manager to lead our dynamic team and oversee daily operations across all service areas. This role demands a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Quoting

Provide accurate, detailed quotations for crash repairs, mechanical work, electrical diagnostics, and cosmetic services. Communicate clearly with customers regarding scope, timelines, and pricing.

Workshop Coordination

Book jobs into our workshop management software and ensure seamless scheduling. Allocate tasks to technicians based on skillset and workload. Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.

Team Leadership

Supervise all workshop staff, including technicians, detailers, and support personnel. Manage staff rotas, attendance, and performance. Conduct recruitment, onboarding, and disciplinary procedures as needed.

Quality Control & Handover

Personally inspect and sign off all completed jobs to ensure Royal Cars' standards are met. Oversee final detailing and presentation before handing vehicles back to customers.

Operational Excellence

Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety, and professional presentation. Monitor and manage stock levels of parts, consumables, and detailing products. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and internal protocols.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in automotive workshop management or senior supervisory role. Strong technical understanding of crash repairs, mechanical systems, auto electrics, and detailing. Familiarity with workshop management software and digital quoting systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple jobs and staff efficiently under pressure. High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
