To analyze piping drawings provided by clients (e.g., P&ID and isometric drawings) and perform on-site pressure tests (hydrostatic or pneumatic) in accordance with technical specifications. The engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed technical reports and professionally presenting results to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and review piping system drawings (P&ID and Isometric) from clients.
Identify testing points and determine the correct tools and procedures for the pressure test.
Execute hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests on-site.
Analyze test results and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Prepare detailed technical reports and provide professional feedback to clients.
Ensure adherence to international testing standards (ASME / API / ISO).
Apply strict safety procedures during all testing activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Previous experience as a Pressure Testing Engineer, Piping Engineer, or Hydrotest Engineer.
Strong knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME B31.3 or API.
Excellent ability to read and interpret piping drawings and pressure system designs.
Strong communication skills and technical reporting ability.
Willingness to travel for fieldwork across the UAE and abroad as required by the project.
Possession of one or more of the following certifications:
ASNT Level II (Leak Testing / Hydrostatic)
API 570 - Piping Inspector
OSHA, NEBOSH, or IOSH safety certification
