The Presales Manager - Smart Infrastructure will lead presales strategy, solution architecture, and technical proposal development for Omnix's Smart Infrastructure portfolio. The role supports Sales in shaping customer solutions, participating in key pursuits, developing winning proposals, and ensuring seamless handover to delivery. The position requires deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to position differentiated value to enterprise and government customers across the GCC.
Roles & Responsibilities

Presales & Solutioning Leadership
Lead highly qualified technical team.
Lead opportunity qualification, requirement scoping, and solution definition across the Smart Infrastructure domain.
Drive and oversee RFP/RFQ responses, solution designs, technical documentation, and compliance matrices.
Deliver high-quality customer workshops, demos, and technical presentations to support strategic pursuits.
Establish scalable solution templates, best practices, and presales collateral to enhance organizational capability.
Ensure solution feasibility and alignment with Omnix's technical and delivery competencies.

Sales Support & Opportunity Management
Partner with the Sales team to position differentiated solutions based on customer needs and strategic priorities.
Engage and lead in key customer meetings, proposal clarifications, and bid defense sessions.
Lead pricing strategy, cost estimations, and commercial justification.
Ensure deliverables meet tender timelines, technical compliance, and customer evaluation requirements.

Delivery Team Engagement
Provide structured handover packages to delivery teams to ensure smooth execution.
Support project initiation by clarifying solution scope, design intent, and implementation constraints.
Maintain alignment between presales commitments and actual delivery execution.

Vendor, OEM & Partner Collaboration
Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, vendors, distributors, and ecosystem partners for continuous technical updates.
Lead co-solutioning engagements to build optimized, compliant, and competitive offerings.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Sales, PMO, Delivery, Procurement) to ensure proposal quality and readiness.

Qualification and Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Telecom or Mechatronics Engineering.
Professional certifications in ICT, ELV, Security, Smart Building, or OEM-specific technologies (preferred).
Additional certifications in Smart City, Digital Buildings, Networking, or Data Center infrastructure are an advantage.

Minimum Experience / Skills
10-15 years' experience within Smart Infrastructure / ICT / ELV / Smart City / Data Center domains.
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on presales and solution architecture experience.
Strong track record supporting enterprise and government customers across the UAE & GCC.
System Integrator background preferred.
Deep solution architecture expertise across:

+ Smart Buildings, BMS/GRMS, Building Automation
+ ICT Networks, Wi-Fi, Connectivity & Structured Cabling
+ Data Center Infrastructure
