Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Presales Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and commercial expertise in security and ELV systems, with proven experience in preparing technical proposals, BOQs, cost estimations, and solution designs for CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Intercom, and Smart Automation projects. The candidate must be able to liaise effectively with clients, provide technical presentations, and support the sales team in winning new projects.

SIRA certification is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Presales Support

Understand client requirements and design integrated security and ELV solutions tailored to residential and commercial projects. Prepare technical documentation, schematics, and drawings (AutoCAD). Conduct site surveys to gather technical details and recommend optimal solutions. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients.

Estimation & BOQ Preparation:

Develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost estimations. Prepare competitive technical & commercial proposals in line with tender requirements. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical compliance.

Sales & Client Engagement:

Work closely with the sales team to support pre-tender and post-tender technical discussions. Attend client meetings, consultant presentations, and technical clarifications. Provide value engineering options to optimize cost without compromising compliance.

Compliance & Quality:

Ensure all solutions are aligned with SIRA regulations, local authority guidelines, and international standards. Maintain updated knowledge of new technologies and products in the ELV/security industry.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering or related field. Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of presales/technical design experience in ELV/security systems in Dubai or the UAE. Technical Skills: CCTV (IP & analog) solution design. Access Control Systems. Structured Cabling (Cat6/Cat6A/FO). Intercom & Video Door Phone systems. Smart Automation / BMS integration. Additional Requirements: Proven experience in BOQ preparation & tender submissions. Strong knowledge of local regulations & authority requirements (SIRA, Etisalat, DU, etc.). SIRA Certified Engineer (mandatory). Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and security system design software. Excellent communication & presentation skills. Languages: English (required), Arabic (advantage). UAE Driving License preferred.
