We are seeking a highly skilled

Presales Engineer

with deep expertise in

Microsoft Azure

and strong client-facing abilities. This role combines technical knowledge with consultative skills, supporting sales by designing cloud architectures, performing resource sizing, and creating client-ready adoption plans. As a trusted advisor, you will present, justify, and defend your solutions, aligning best practices with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure solutions Develop and document cloud architecture diagrams, covering compute, networking, storage, identity, and security Engage with clients to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions Present and pitch solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, including stakeholders and executives Defend architectural decisions using Azure-native capabilities and industry best practices Collaborate with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover from presales to implementation Stay current with Azure advancements and continuously evolve your technical skill set
Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, identity, and security) Strong understanding of Azure Pricing Calculator, TCO analysis, and cost optimization strategies Proven experience creating architecture diagrams using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences Demonstrated consultative and client-facing experience, especially in presales or solution design Knowledge of cloud governance, compliance, and landing zone concepts Self-driven, independent, and passionate about continuous learning Azure certifications (AZ-305 or AZ-104) are a plus
Nice to Have

Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep) Background in systems engineering, enterprise IT, or cloud migration projects
