Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Engineer - Prequalification to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and prequalifying vendors, products, and materials in compliance with project and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

*Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on product range, technical capability, past project experience, compliance with standards, pricing, financial stability, and delivery capacity.

*Coordinate with Engineering, QC, and Procurement teams to finalize product/vendor selection. Liaise with the Contracts/Legal Department to finalize agreements with selected suppliers.

*Obtain necessary approvals from authorities such as Civil Defense and other relevant bodies. Work closely with consultants and clients to prequalify company products for ongoing and upcoming projects.

*List and register company products in the approved vendor lists of consultants, contractors, and major developers.

*Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and value-engineering sessions for consultants and stakeholders.

*Prepare and submit technical documentation, datasheets, compliance statements, and product submittals for consultant approval.

*Build and maintain strong professional relationships with consultants, developers, and key decision-makers.

*Provide technical support during project execution to ensure approved products and systems are implemented correctly.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).

*Minimum 4-6 years of experience in product prequalification, vendor assessment, or related technical roles.

*Strong understanding of local authority requirements (Dubai Civil Defense, DEWA, etc.).

*Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

*UAE Driver's license holder

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
