Job Title: Part-Time Pre-K/KG-1 TeacheraEUR(TM)s Assistant (Local Hires - Only) Location: ACA Department: Early Years Education Schedule: Part-Time Start Date: August 2025 Position Overview: ACA is seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and dedicated Pre-K/KG-1 TeacheraEUR(TM)s Assistant to support our youngest learners in a dynamic and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the homeroom teacher to foster a safe, supportive, and creative classroom that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth. Key Responsibilities: Support the homeroom teacher in delivering daily lessons and activities. Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed. Help supervise students during playtime, meals, and transitions. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture in alignment with ACAaEUR(TM)s values. Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the lead teacher. Support classroom management and reinforce positive behavior. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required. Qualifications: BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in English or Education (required). Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
