Position Overview
AECOM is seeking a Pre-Contract Project Management Engineer to support building and infrastructure projects in Dubai. This role focuses on early-stage project planning, cost control, tendering, and contract coordination, ensuring projects are positioned for successful delivery in compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing project scopes, timelines, and budgets during the pre-contract phase
Conduct risk assessments and prepare mitigation strategies for proposed projects
Collaborate with estimators and quantity surveyors to develop accurate cost estimates
Support preparation, review, and coordination of tender documents and contract agreements
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the bidding process
Assist in evaluation and selection of contractors and subcontractors
Prepare preliminary project schedules and resource allocation plans
Contribute to project management plans, execution strategies, and delivery frameworks
Ensure compliance with UAE construction laws, regulations, and FIDIC requirements
Maintain organized records and documentation for all pre-contract activities
Ideal Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in pre-contract roles
Strong knowledge of contract management and FIDIC forms of contract
Experience supporting building construction projects in the UAE
