About the job PR/ Corporate Communications Manager

Purpose of the role: The PR Manager will be responsible for driving the awareness of the Company brand and developing an enviable corporate image by leading and executing effective communication and media relations programs. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, is able to think outside the box, and has stellar communication skills (written and verbal). The candidate should also have an extensive network of media contacts, and an awareness of the latest industry trends & events. Duties and Responsibilities: Planning
  • Develop a communications & media relations plan (in line with marketing) including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics.
Communications
  • Write & distribute interesting and engaging press releases, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media.
Events
  • Suggest relevant events to participate in (networking, exhibitions, etc.) as well as relevant speaking engagements (round tables and panel discussions).
Influencers & Brand Ambassador Management
  • Identify & suggest relevant influencers to work with the brand.
  • Maintain & manage influencer relationships + manage gifting campaigns.
  • Manage the company Brand Ambassador program in accordance with both marketing and sales KPIs
Reporting
  • Generate detailed monthly reports on media coverage.
  • Share monthly media clippings and relevant Google alerts mentions.
  • Professional Requirements:
    • Bachelors/ Diploma in Marketing/ Mass Communications or related discipline.
    • At least 5 to 7 years of related PR experience (preferably in the Food/ Beverage Industry).
    • Mature, organized, and able to work independently.
    • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
    • Good organizational and project management skills.
    • Self-motivated, resourceful, with high level of initiative.
    • Strong Negotiation skills.
    • Able to give clear briefs.
    • Demonstrates extreme attention to detail.
    Interpersonal Skills:
    • Strong communication and writing skills.
    • Strong social and networking skills.
    • Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly.
    • Ability to cope with a fast-paced environment.
