About the Job

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced PR and Communications Manager for a leading Sports Marketing company in Dubai. As the PR & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies that enhance the brand image, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and drive positive media coverage. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong media relations, and a deep understanding of the Dubai market.

About the Role

• PR Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communications strategies aligned with the company\'s goals and objectives.
• Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure positive media coverage and manage media inquiries effectively.
• Press Releases and Media Kits: Draft compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to effectively convey key messages and news updates to the media.
• Crisis Communications: Develop and implement crisis communications plans to manage and mitigate reputational risks. Act as a spokesperson and handle media inquiries during crisis situations.
• Brand Messaging: Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging across all communication channels and ensure alignment with the company\'s values, mission, and vision.
• Thought Leadership: Identify opportunities for executive thought leadership, including speaking engagements, industry events, and opinion pieces in relevant publications.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to create engaging and impactful content for various communication channels, including website, social media, newsletters, and press materials.
• Event Management: Plan and execute successful PR events, including press conferences, product launches, and media briefings, to generate media coverage and enhance brand visibility.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, industry associations, and government entities, to support business objectives and strengthen the brand\'s reputation.
• Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor media coverage and industry trends, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to measure the effectiveness of PR and communications efforts.
• Collaborative Approach: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and senior management, to align PR and communications strategies with overall business goals.

About the Candidate

• Bachelor\'s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a PR & Communications Manager or similar role, preferably in the UAE market.
• Strong media relations skills, with a robust network of contacts in local and regional media outlets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and stories for different audiences.
• Crisis management experience, with the ability to handle sensitive and high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism.
• Solid understanding of digital PR strategies and social media platforms.
• Ability to think strategically and develop creative PR initiatives that generate positive brand exposure.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR analytics.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the local business landscape and cultural sensitivities in Dubai.
