We invite applications for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to work on an exciting project focused on the formation and growth of massive black holes in the early Universe. The successful candidate will contribute to a new generation of multi-scale, multi-physics simulations, combining cosmological radiation-hydrodynamical simulations with direct N-body modeling using the Astrophysical MUlti-purpose Software Environment (AMUSE).
Minimum Qualification
PhD in Astrophysics, Physics, or a closely related field (for postdoctoral applicants). Strong background in computational astrophysics and numerical simulations. Experience with N-body simulations, hydrodynamics, or stellar dynamics. Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or similar scientific programming languages. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international research team.
