Job Description
The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), is seeking applications for a postdoctoral research position in the field of computational fluid dynamics. This position is supported by the \xe2\x80\x9cUniversity Program for Advanced Research\xe2\x80\x9d (UPAR). We are looking for a very hard-working individual who is committed to outstanding research with genuine interest in \xe2\x80\x9cheat transfer and fluid flow\xe2\x80\x9d. This appointment is made for 3 -6 months. The major responsibilities include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing mathematical models for \xe2\x80\x9cHeat Transfer and Fluid Flow\xe2\x80\x9d. \xe2\x80\xa2 Determining the numerical solution of the mathematical models. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reporting the obtained results. \xe2\x80\xa2 Publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals and make presentations in conferences.Minimum Qualification1. MSc in mathematics. 2. Good experience in numerical methods for PDEs, numerical analysis, modelling and simulations. 3. Good experience with programming languages. 4. Good communication skills in English (oral and writing).Preferred Qualification
