Job Description
We are looking for a hard-working postdoctoral fellow who is interested in organic chemistry/medicinal chemistry to mainly carry out the project "Sustainable Synthesis and Evaluation of Cetilistat and Related Derivatives as Potential Anti-Obesity Drugs". The major responsibilities include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Design and synthesis of Cetilistat and Related Derivatives. \xe2\x80\xa2Synthesis and purification of other types of new molecules \xe2\x80\xa2 Full Characterization using techniques such as NMR, FT-IR, MS, and X-ray. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reporting the obtained results by writing detailed weekly reports. \xe2\x80\xa2 Publishing experimental and review papers in peer-reviewed journals and making presentations at conferences. \xe2\x80\xa2Assisting in training and supervision of M.Sc. and undergraduate Students. The candidate appointment is for (4) months as a Probationary period renewable for one additional (1) extra year. The package includes a monthly allowance of AED 10,000, Medical insurance, Visa issuing, and a one-way ticket are covered.Minimum QualificationThe candidate must have completed a Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry with a minimum of 3-years of previous postdoctoral experience.Preferred Qualification
