Position Overview

• KU is seeking a highly motivated Post-doctoral Fellow to work on To provide high quality research support and prototype development in areas related to Blockchain, IoT, cloud computing, embedded system development using RPI and Arduino, web application development, and supply chain management and logistics.
• To present research plans and findings in a convincing style, both in oral and written modes of communication; to understand research group management and supervision of others; to establish contacts and network with colleagues pursuing a similar research agenda; and to organize and teach a class or a course if more inclined towards a teaching career.
• Help research center affiliated faculty in preparing for patent filing, preparing presentations, and developing grant proposals from Industry.

The PD will assist faculty in supervising and mentorship of MSc and PhD students working on center related projects and activities.

• Evidence of strong publication profile in highly reputable journals Adhere to the University\'s information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly

Candidate Profile

Essential Criteria

• PhD from a reputable university in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or Engineering Systems/Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience writing scientific or review papers;
• A willingness to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture
• Excellent English language communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• The proven ability to work on multiple tasks with competing demands and deadlines.
• Ability to train and mentor students and support fellow researchers
• Highly developed reasoning and problem-solving skills

Desired Criteria

• PhD gained from a top 200 QS or THE ranked University
• Relevant experience as an established researcher in academia or in industry.
• High impact first-author publications in top 10% journals in the relevant field
