Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

POS Supervisor

to manage the point-of-sale operations across our beach outlets, including food & beverage kiosks, rentals, and retail services. The ideal candidate will ensure all transactions are processed smoothly, staff are well-trained, and guests enjoy a seamless and professional experience.

This role requires hands-on supervision in an outdoor beach environment, where operational efficiency, customer service, and system accuracy are key to delivering a premium guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- POS System Oversight:

Manage and monitor all POS systems across the beach area to ensure smooth transaction processing. Address any technical issues and coordinate with IT or vendors for prompt resolution.

- Staff Support and Training:

Train and supervise staff on proper POS usage, handling payments, processing refunds, and managing customer interactions. Ensure all team members follow standard operating procedures.

- Daily Sales and Cash Handling:

Oversee opening and closing procedures for all POS stations. Verify float allocations, ensure accurate cash handling, and conduct end-of-day reconciliations.

- Transaction Accuracy and Auditing:

Ensure all transactions, discounts, and promotions are accurately entered and properly documented. Conduct periodic audits to identify discrepancies or system misuse.

- Inventory Coordination:

Work with inventory and beach operations teams to ensure stock levels in the POS system match actual availability

- Guest Experience:

Support front-line staff in managing queues during peak hours and resolving payment-related guest issues quickly and professionally to maintain a high level of satisfaction.

- Promotions and Menu Management:

Update POS systems with new pricing, menu changes, or promotional offers in coordination with the marketing and F&B teams.

- Reporting and Analysis:

Generate daily and weekly reports on sales, staff performance, and POS activity. Share insights with management to optimize beach outlet performance.

- Outdoor Equipment Oversight:

Ensure POS hardware is weather-protected, charged, and fully functional for beach operations.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in POS supervision, ideally in a beach, resort, or outdoor hospitality setting

- Strong knowledge of POS software and hardware

- Experience in cash handling, reconciliation, and transaction auditing

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability

- Ability to train and support a diverse front-line team

Preferred:

- Previous experience in outdoor venues such as beach clubs, resorts, or seaside cafes

- Familiarity with mobile and wireless POS systems

- Good English communication skills; Arabic and other languages are a plus

- Basic IT troubleshooting skills

- Experience working in fast-paced, high-traffic environments

Work Environment:

This is a hands-on, outdoor role in a beach setting. The POS Supervisor must be comfortable working in sun, wind, or occasional adverse weather conditions. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak-season hours is essential. The role involves both standing and walking across the beach premises during shifts.
