Job Description

Education: Bachelor\'s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. (MBA / CFA) is a plus. Experience: 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, operations, re-structuring, and portfolio management with a proven track record across multiple sectors. Skills:

  • Ability to conduct detailed market assessment, competitive analysis, market entry strategies, gap analysis, and business planning.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive financial analysis, valuations, and risk assessments.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful growth & value creation strategies.
  • Solid understanding of the investment management industry, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  • General understanding of valuation methodologies, including DCF analysis and comparable company analysis.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • MS Excel proficient and building power point presentations and commercial due diligence reports.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the performance and operations of the operating subsidiaries within the company\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio, ensuring alignment with the investment objectives and strategies set by the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and performance evaluation, to assess the financial health and growth potential of the operating subsidiaries.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for each operating subsidiary, collaborating with the investment team and other stakeholders to define goals, objectives, and growth strategies.
  • Identify and assess financial, operational, and market risks associated with the operating subsidiaries while developing risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and maximize portfolio performance.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with the management teams of the operating subsidiaries, serving as a key point of contact and providing guidance, support, and oversight as needed.
  • Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities within the sectors covered by the portfolio.
  • Monitor the financial and operating performance of the operating subsidiaries, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular performance reports for the investment director and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the investment department, including the FP&A manager, to ensure effective coordination and integration of financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape within the sectors covered by the portfolio. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and risks
