. We specialize in ensuring seamless port operations, regulatory compliance, and smooth communication with government entities. To support our growing operations, we are looking for an experienced
Public Relations Officer (PRO)
to manage governmental procedures, visa processing, and port-related affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Government Liaison:
Handle all transactions with government departments, including
new visas, renewals, cancellations, and work permits
for crew and employees, including
Short Pass, Seaman Visa (96 hours), Mission Visas, Seaman Card, COC Endorsement, GMDSS Endorsement, and No-Objection Letters (NL) from FTA/MOE
.
Port & Maritime Compliance:
Manage procedures related to
TarKhees, PCFC, PR & Hamriya portals, NOCs, and MNDC
.
License & Document Renewals:
Ensure
trade licenses, vessel registrations, and crew certifications
are renewed on time.
Jebel Ali Port Operations:
Handle
Port Entry/Exit NOCs and Gate Pass processing
.
Labor & Immigration:
Manage
Emirates ID applications, health insurance, and all crew-related governmental procedures
.
Customs & Clearance:
Handle
all port-related affairs, customs clearance, and crew-related formalities
.
Etisalat Procedures:
Have knowledge of
Etisalat services and processes
as required for company operations.
Company Representation:
Represent the company in meetings with
officials, embassies, and regulatory bodies
when required.
Legal Documentation:
Ensure proper
notarization, attestation, and translation
of documents as per UAE law.
Emergency Handling:
Provide assistance in case of crew detainment, legal issues, or other urgent matters.
Will be responsible for supporting the technical team by transporting the things required at the port
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years of experience
as a
PRO
in the
marine shipping or logistics industry
.
Strong experience with
Dubai Hamriya Customs & Immigration, TarKhees/DMC, Port Rashid DXB Immigration, Coast Guard procedures, Jebel Ali Port Entry/Exit NOC, and Gate Pass procedures
