About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Pool Technician Team Leader to join the team of Engineering in Talise Spa, located in Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Leadership:
  • Lead a team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of pool mechanical systems.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Schedule and prioritize tasks for the team to optimize efficiency and meet service level agreements.
Maintenance and Repair:
  • Conduct regular inspections of pool mechanical equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and piping systems, to identify issues and prevent failures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and develop effective repair solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure replacement parts and materials as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all pool mechanical systems comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for team members to promote awareness and best practices.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and resource utilization.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management to support informed decision-making.
Customer Service:
  • Interact with pool users and facility managers to address inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as facility management and maintenance, to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operation of pool facilities.
About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in mechanical systems preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of pool mechanical equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities and understanding of mechanical principles.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in pool operations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for professional interaction with guests and relevant stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience and supervision of team members.
