The Pool and Spa technician to operate, control and monitor and record overall plumbing related equipment, especially swimming pool, Jacuzzi, whirlpool, water fountain, Drainage line, general cold and hot water distribution line, Sump pit sewerage pumps, Swimming pool operation water quality control and to make sure that overall equipment is in maximum condition.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure overall system line is in proper condition and have good knowledge in the water pipe connection and others piping system including sanitary treatment plant drainage and valve location/ positions
• Is a continual source of help and assistance to all the engineering team
• Attend daily briefing and get a handover from the previous shift
• Follow the routine Preventive maintenance task activity and recorded accordingly
• Assist Duty engineer to make sure overall over-all plumbing issue related are in proper and maximum condition and follow the Duty engineer to implement P&M activity in appropriate times and when the guests require
• Daily check in swimming pool and drainage line area to make sure that all the system are work properly and take action accordingly if necessary
• Assist to Mechanical technician in overall activity
• Assist Engineering coordinator in daily inventory activity
• Take care of any guest/ staff requests and complete them within the appropriate time. If unable to complete with your shift to handover to next shift accordingly
• Deliver the stock items for plumbing and mechanical/ shift workshop
• Assist Duty engineer to restock the daily consumable material in workshop area such as pipe joiner, elbow, swimming pool chemicals etc
• Assist duty engineer to establishes and maintain seamless interaction and communication with all related departments.
• Handle the routine checklist for Hot and Cold water distribution system, sump pit and fire extinguisher in overall property and recorded accordingly
• Able to work any shift that is assigned to him by Management or Supervisor
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned to him
• Report any unusual and suspicious behaviour of guests or staff to supervisor, senior management and security
• Ensure to comply with the grooming standard
• Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the work place
• Conduct duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with St Regis Abu Dhabi policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication is maintained

Education & Experience:

• Must have at least 24 months experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
• Able to read and write English.
• Basic computer skills
