Job Description

Here are the key responsibilities of a

Pool Lifeguard

:

Ensure Safety


Monitor swimmers and pool area to prevent accidents or injuries. Enforce pool rules and regulations strictly.

Surveillance


Maintain constant vigilance by scanning the pool and surrounding areas to detect signs of distress or unsafe behavior.

Rescue and Emergency Response


Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing water rescues and administering first aid or CPR when needed.

Maintain Cleanliness


Keep the pool deck and surrounding area clean and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment.

Equipment Check


Regularly inspect and maintain safety and rescue equipment, such as life buoys, first aid kits, and communication devices.

Assist Visitors


Provide information and assistance to pool users, including guidance on pool rules and safety practices.

Report Incidents


Document and report any accidents, injuries, or unusual incidents promptly to management.

Follow Health Protocols


Adhere to hygiene and safety standards, including COVID-19 protocols if applicable.
