Job Summary/Purpose :

The Lifeguard is responsible for the day to day safety & operation of the swimming pools and to assist in the fitness, activities and general attendant duties in the Spa areas. This includes the safety, cleanliness and maintenance duties and activities performed in and around the Spa.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety at all times Enforce hotel safety protocols and pool regulations with professionalism Respond swiftly to emergencies and perform water rescues when necessary Administer first aid and CPR as required Maintain cleanliness and readiness of poolside equipment and safety gear Provide courteous assistance and guidance to guests using recreational facilities Participate in regular training and safety drills

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid lifeguard certification (ADQCC or internationally recognized equivalent) CPR and First Aid certified Strong swimming and rescue skills Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting preferred Excellent communication and guest service abilities Calm under pressure, with a proactive and attentive approach
