Perform machine and hand polishing on vehicle exteriors to remove scratches, oxidation, and swirl marks.
Use buffing tools, compounds, and waxes to achieve a high-gloss finish.
Prepare surfaces before polishing, including cleaning, claying, and masking sensitive areas.
Conduct paint correction and restoration on all types of vehicle finishes.
Inspect work to ensure a professional and consistent finish.
Collaborate with detailers and technicians to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
Maintain polishing equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and use protective gear when handling chemicals or operating machinery.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a car polisher, automotive detailer, or similar role.
Skilled in the use of rotary and dual-action polishers.
Good understanding of paint types, surface materials, and detailing products.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
