Job Description

1-Key Responsibilities:

Surface Polishing and Maintenance:

Polish and buff surfaces, including marble, granite, tiles, wood, and metal, to achieve a smooth, glossy finish.

Remove scratches, stains, and blemishes from surfaces using appropriate techniques and materials.

Apply wax, sealants, and protective coatings to enhance appearance and durability.

Equipment Operation:

Operate polishing machines, grinders, and buffers safely and efficiently.

Perform basic maintenance on polishing equipment, including cleaning and replacing parts as needed.

Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition before use.

Surface Restoration:

Repair minor damages, such as chips, cracks, or discoloration, before polishing.

Match surface finishes and colors to maintain consistency and aesthetic appeal.

Restore worn or old surfaces to their original condition through refinishing processes.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during polishing activities.

Handle chemicals, solvents, and polishing compounds in compliance with safety guidelines.

Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to company policies and regulations.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of tasks performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.

Report any significant damages, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Track inventory of polishing supplies and request replenishments when necessary.

Customer Interaction:

Respond promptly to service requests and address client concerns regarding surface maintenance.

Communicate with clients to explain work progress, expected outcomes, and timelines.

Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor at all times, ensuring client satisfaction.

2-Skills & knowledge required:

Attention to detail and precision in work.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Proficient in polishing techniques for various materials, including marble, wood, and metal.

Skilled in using polishing machines, hand tools, and cleaning agents.

Knowledge of surface restoration methods and protective coating applications.
