The Policy Advisor is a key member within our client\'s policy team. This role plays a central part in ensuring coherence of information and narrative across all formal and informal speeches and statements to senior officials. This is a very hands-on role that works with all stakeholders inside and outside the organisation to prepare key messages and initial drafts into speeches, video scripts other communications materials.
The role requires very advanced English writing and editing skills. Successful candidates might have a background in political communications, journalism, academic writing, literature, or multilateral policy analysis. A successful candidate will deep sector knowledge of the UAE. They will have an active interest in foreign policy, The Middle East and how the ME interacts with the global politics, and an ability to deploy fine nuances in the English language to convey and advance ideas and inform stakeholders.

- Writing in English:
- Working with team members to analysis
- Ability to write quickly and accurately
- Revising speeches and other texts prepared by other stakeholders, to improve structure and flow
- Competencies

- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Ability to function in a very diverse team
- Knowledge of the Middle East. Familiarity of the UAE a plus
- Maintaining confidentiality while sharing information effectively
- Education and Experience
- Academic background in politics, international relations, multilateral institutions, or a related field
- Experience in academia, government, journalism, or publishing.
- At least 5-10 years of post-graduation full time work experience
- Working knowledge of Arabic is a big plus but not a requirement for this role
