Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all construction equipment including tower cranes, hoists, concrete pumps, generators, and heavy vehicles.
Preventive Maintenance Planning:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Asset Optimization:
Monitor equipment utilization and performance to ensure cost-effective deployment across multiple high-rise projects.
Technical Oversight:
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, recommend corrective actions, and supervise complex repairs.
Procurement & Inventory:
Coordinate with procurement teams for spare parts and consumables. Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely availability.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all PMV operations comply with UAE regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and site safety standards.
Team Leadership:
Manage workshop staff, technicians, and mechanics. Provide training and enforce quality control procedures.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of equipment history, maintenance logs, fuel consumption, and cost analysis.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
Assist in preparing PMV budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
5-10 years of experience in PMV management within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment used in high-rise construction
Familiarity with UAE labor laws, safety regulations, and equipment standards
Proficiency in maintenance software and MS Office
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
UAE driving license (preferred)
